Dave Owens Photography

Dave Owens is an imaginative, versatile and award winning photographer.  He received his diploma from the Photography Institute in February 2011.

I am a Southwestern Ontario boy who loves the outdoors and any type of adventure I can find.  In fact I fell in love with photography on a trip to Australia where I spent 6 months in 2008. I would spend hours exploring and looking for the "best shot" I decided when I returned home that this is what I want to do, so I got my diploma and the rest is history. My business has grown every year and I strive to never stop improving. Every year I spend time and money on courses and updating equipment. This is a constantly evolving industry and I like to be on the cusp. Having said that the essence of wedding photography will always be documenting a love story and capturing joy and romance. That will never be lost and is not something you can buy at the camera store.

Kenlyn and I got married in June of 2018 and she has become my full time assistant/second shooter. Kenlyn has an acute attention to detail and makes sure that the dress and flowers etc. are always looking their best! You can check out some of her work on facebook at Kenlyn Joy Photography.

I love having a profession where I get to work with couples on one of one of the most important days of their lives to tell their own unique love story. I take the time to connect with each of my clients on a personal level.  I like to keep things light hearted and fun because I know the importance of developing a personal connection and relationship with the couples I work with.  Feeling comfortable and relaxed with your photographer comes out through in the images.

I love photography and how the possibilities are endless, I am always trying to think outside the box to deliver the most creative, artistic, and memorable photograph possible.  Photographs capture a moment and preserve it for a lifetime.  I take great pride in what I do knowing that I am being trusted with capturing such a momentous occasion and preserving memories to last a lifetime.

Thank you for taking the time.
